Central Consolidated School District
You are here: Lunar Eclipse
Blood MoonParents, guardians and CCSD community,
CCSD is aware of the earthly phenomenon as the Moon goes through a super phase, blood phase and eclipse phase early Wednesday morning, January 31, 2018.
If you and your student are observing Navajo cultural practices during this time, CCSD understands.
Students who participate in this activity and arrive late to school will have their tardiness excused by the district and state as a Cultural Observance.
The CCSD Cultural Heritage Center has created the following video to educate the public about this phenomenon from the lens of the Navajo People.
