My goals, in education, are vast, however they all steer in the direction that our students receive top quality teaching.

As for my 2018-2019 school year goals, it is to give teachers a set of skills that will not only empower them to be more culturally responsive to our Dine students, but to instill them  with valuable strategies that has proven to work effectively with ALL levels of learners. The acronym LEARN defines how I plan to achieve this.
  • Learner Centered
That the driving principle behind all workshops is that the leaner must be 100% engaged in the learning process.
  • Experiential
That all activities have a hands-on approach, to exploring and experiencing the guiding principles & strategies behind each technique.
  • Adaptable
That the techniques and strategies covered can be used the next day in the classroom without spending hours on preparation.
  • Research-Based
That every strategy and technique is based on sound research of learning and teaching current to the field of teaching.
  • Needs-Based
That every training is designed and delivered with the specific needs of the school and the goals of the intervention.
